Art Griffin
Hi. My name is Art Griffin. I'm teaching in Gaelscoil E. Uí Thuairisc since 1986. I'm married with two kids. I've spent my life working with people and always wanted to help if there was an emergency. I was inspired to join Carlow Town First Responders in 2019 when I saw them in action at an incident. I'd urge anyone to join and help their community.

Caroline Dargan
Hi, my name is Caroline Dargan. I joined Carlow Town Community First Responders in 2019 after providing bystander CPR where there was a sucessfull outcome. I attended my first training session and was instantly drawn to it. I now volunteer in my community to respond to Cardiac Arrests, Heart Attacks and more.

Hi, my name is Lisa O' Malley, I work in residential care. I am one of the founding members of Carlow Town CFR and an Instructor.I became a Community First Responder to make a difference in my community providing life saving assistance prior to the arrival of the paramedics of the National Ambulance Service

Michael Lyons
Hi, my name is Michael Lyons.I have been volunteering with Special Olympics since 2002. I have volunteered with the Irish wheelchair association Carlow branch since 2005.Having served in the ESB carlow as an electrician for 37years & took early retirement in 2012. I then went on to the voluntary board of directors in Carlow & District Credit Union serving as Chairman for four years. I Joined Carlow Town Community First Responders at the start & enjoy the training and helping people in the community.

Hi, my name is Florence and I am originally from Croatia with Irish address for fourth year now 🍀 I grew up in a family of veterans, and nurses. I knew what I was getting into when I joined CFR. I have a strong sense of service, and I’ve always been one to stop and lend a helping hand. I believe that being able to help someone actually helps me feel like I made a difference.

Adrian Dempsey
Hi my name is Adrian Dempsey. I am a lifelong member of The Order of Malta Palmerstown. I joined CTCFR when I spotted a local advertisement asking for community members to start a local group. I currently look after member training as part of our training team, and am an instructor. I enjoy teaching anybody who is interested.

Hi, my name is Janet Dunleavy. I joined CTCFR because I had always enjoyed First Aid training which was a requirement for work and I wanted to do something to give back to the community. In joining I also got to become part of a truly inspirational team.

Pat Hosey
Hi, my name is Pat Hosey and I've been with Carlow Town Community First Responders since 2019. I'm originally from Monaghan. I enjoy helping the group with fundraising and showing people how to do CPR. In my spare time I like helping others, cycling, diamond painting, gardening, music and spending time with my family.

Owen Gorman
Hi my name is Owen Gorman and I'm your local friendly taxi driver. I've recently joined Carlow Town Community First Responders to learn valuable life saving skills and to help those in our community once trained. In my spare time I enjoy running and have done several marathons with the most recent being the virtual DCM which I did in aid Of Carlow Town First Responders. I also enjoy the craic and great food in Cibos as well as Paulies Bootcamp.
